Making Replicas of Metallic Objects using Electroform Techniques

This course encompasses electroforming for museum exhibitions, research, education, reconstruction and completion. Participants make silicone rubber moulds of pre-selected antiquities and prepare them for deposition. Post deposition joining and finishing is carried out. Case studies and lectures on the theory of electrodeposition are given and the participants discuss the details of electroforming set-ups.
The course is held at Benner Larsen's purpose-built studio in Dianalund, Denmark.
